At the intersection of Beverly Avenue and Grant Road, soon to be the primary entry point for Tucson Medical Center, big things are happening.
An upgraded campus entry boulevard and landscaped parking areas are under construction, while crews maintain access to the nearby Emergency Department and Outpatient Services. Beverly Avenue is a one-way road into the TMC campus for the duration of this summer, while the upgrade continues.
Overlooking the evolving parking area is the new TMC Orthopaedic and Surgical Tower, with more of its exterior skin completed each day. The four-story structure will open next spring with state-of-the-art surgical suites, patient care rooms and Tucson Orthopaedic Institute clinics.
