Tucson Medical Center employees will be getting new gym facilities next year after successfully reducing their health-care costs, as detailed in a story by the Arizona Daily Star.
In an interview, President and CEO Judy Rich explained that employees responded to the challenge to cut health care costs by focusing on preventive care and becoming more active.
The new facilities will be built in the existing operating rooms that will be vacated in the move to the new TMC Orthopaedic and Surgical Tower next spring.
