Make your calendars for the very first, “BollyKids presents FAME “ A Family Arts and Music Experience on Sunday, Oct. 23 at the Children’s Museum Tucson and the Fox Tucson Theatre. FAME is the dream of Neelam Sethi , creator of “Bollywood at The Fox,” and her husband Dr. Gulshan Sethi “We are thrilled to be presenting this beautiful day of creative play for the children of Tucson – and we are so grateful for the many people that helped make this event possible,” said Neelam.
The two part event, which begins at noon at The Children’s Museum Tucson , has an outstanding line up of activities including live entertainment, hands on arts, cooking demonstrations, food samplings, and much more. Support providers include The Drawing Room, Ben’s Bells, Tucson Museum of Art, Kidzart, Puppet Amongus, The Drawing Studio, Sonoran Glass Art Academy, Tucson Clowns, Young Rembrandts, “Kids Can Cook” hosts Haile and Nia Thomas, Cub Club Samba, and Beowulf Alley Theatre Co., as well as traditional Indian cultural activities including henna tattoos, bindis, children’s dress-up activities, Hindi name writing, Sand art, music, food, dancing and more.
At 3pm, the center of activity moves on to The Fox Theatre for a special performance by Childsplay of Tomás and the Library Lady.
