Four prominent Tucson women have been honored as Women Who Lead by the University of Arizona Women’s Studies Advisory Council.
They are Katharine Kent, president of The Solar Store; Nancy Ledeboer, director of the Pima County Public Library; Dr. Ana María López, professor of Medicine and Pathology, and medical director of the telemedicine program at the UA Cancer Center; and Judy Rich, president and CEO of TMC HealthCare.
Honorees received their awards Nov. 30 at the 15th annual Women Who Lead reception. Dr. JP Jones, dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, noted that over the years, 46 outstanding local women business and academic leaders have been singled out and acknowledged at this event, which represents the breadth and diversity of female leadership in our community.
