Brain Week Events Filling Quickly

While Tucson Medical Center’s Brain Week will fill the mind with a better understanding of how the brain works, many of the events are filling to capacity.

This week-long series of lectures and activities coordinated by TMC Senior Services has lectures and workshops on various brain disorders and treatment options, and ways to maintain a healthy brain. Events are held at Healthy Living Connections at the El Dorado Health Campus, 1400 N. Wilmot Road.

The following classes still have availability; please call 324-1960 to reserve a seat:

  • Thursday, May 17, 9:30 a.m., Brain Tumors: Diagnosis and Treatment Options
  • Thursday, May 17, 1 p.m., Normal Hydrocephalus: A Reversible Cause of Dementia
  • Friday, May 18, 1 p.m., New to Parkinson’s Disease

  • Wednesday, May 16, 9 a.m., Cognitive Aging and Everyday Remembering
  • Wednesday, May 16, 2 p.m., Brain Aerobics
  • Friday, 11 a.m., New to Memory Loss and Alzheimer’s Disease
