Building Freedom Day

Habitat for Humanity Tucson celebrated its 11th Building Freedom Day on Sept. 11. Building Freedom Day was created to honor the victims of the 9/11 attacks by celebrating hope and the American Dream.

As in previous years, volunteer crews from TMC began building another home to be owned by a TMC employee under a partnership between Habitat and the TMC Foundation. The partnership began in 2005 and since that time, eight TMC employees have received new homes. This year, Linda Ramirez from Patient Financial Services will be the deserving recipient.
