Tucson Medical Center, along with Enroll America and the Arizona Association of Health Underwriters CMS Marketplace Certified Brokers, are teaming up to present one-hour Health Literacy Education presentations.  With Marketplace open enrollment beginning on Saturday, Nov. 15, there’s no better time to get a better understanding about how insurance works and how to use it.

The one-hour sessions are open to the community and there is no RSVP or fee required to attend.

Who should attend?

  • Anybody who is currently uninsured or underinsured and needs help understanding the health insurance options under the Affordable Care Act.
  • Anybody who is currently insured and has questions regarding updating or changing plans.
  • Anybody who is currently insured and has questions on how to start leading a healthier life now…

  • Thursday, Oct. 9, 5 p.m. – Abrams Public Health Center, 3950 S. Country Club Road, Suite 100
  • Tuesday, Nov. 4, 5 p.m. –  Abrams Public Health Center, 3950 S. Country Club Road, Suite 100
  • Tuesday, Dec. 2, 6 p.m. – El Dorado Health Campus, 1400 N. Wilmot Road, Seniors Classroom
  • Monday, Dec. 8, 6 p.m. – El Dorado Health Campus, 1400 N. Wilmot Road, Seniors Classroom

Insurance enrollment will not be offered at these presentations.  Appointments will be offered at each event.
