Come celebrate The Core’s First Birthday!

CoreYogaA year ago over Thanksgiving weekend, Tucson Medical Center opened The Core at La Encantada, a health and wellness venue designed to share active lifestyle tips and resources with people outside the walls of the hospital.

As The Core’s first birthday bash approaches on Nov. 27, nearly 12,000 people have experienced The Core, via weekly fitness classes, lectures or special events.

More than 120 free events and lectures have served to highlight TMC’s CoreCyclecommitment to the community, giving Tucsonans the tools to take control of their health care.

Haven’t experienced The Core yet?

About once a week, The Core hosts a free event or presentation to share medical expertise with the community. Health care providers may share tips on how to keep cholesterol in check, information on comprehensive breast health or how to achieve smart sun safety. Two-thirds of the fitness classes are free, and no class is more than $5.

You’ll find The Core at Suite 277 in La Encantada retail center, 2905 E. Skyline (at Campbell). To see the schedule of events, please visit http://thecoretmc.com/calendar.php
