Panel discussion Feb. 28 on how best to navigate the Tucson Festival of Books

FOB Logo New 2016 BWThe University of Arizona Mall turns into a mecca for book lovers the weekend of March 11.

But the nation’s third largest book event can also be a lot to absorb, with 350 presenting authors, 130,000 festival-goers, and vendors, tents and events stretching through the weekend.

TMC, the proud presenting sponsor of the Tucson Festival of Books, is also pleased to host a panel discussion, “Navigating the Tucson Festival of Books,” at Marshall Auditorium on campus, on Tuesday, Feb. 28, from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

The panel, organized by the Arizona Daily Star, offers insider tips on:

  • The layout of the festival, where to park, where to find what you are looking for.
  • How to use the website, mobile apps and other electronic tools as a guide to the festival.
  • How to use the special section that will be included in the Star on Sunday, March 5.
  • How to use these tools to plan your days.
  • How the free ticketing process for some of the popular authors works.

The event is free, but seating is limited. Please register at tucson.com/workshop
